If you want to see and hear Noel Gallagher live, you should better hurry up and buy a ticket for one of his upcoming shows. The former Oasis member recently made an appearance on Matt Morgan’s Funny How? and revealed that he intends to take an extensive break from touring.

Gallagher talked about his plans for the future and shared that he intends to take some time off soon. “I’m ready to call it a day, actually. I’m ready to stop touring for a while. I’m ready to take a big chunk of time off,” he said.

According to the 52-year-old guitarist and vocalist, he envisions himself releasing less material and making bigger breaks between tours. “I can see myself not producing as much material and touring every five to six years, as opposed to every two or three,” he added.

Noel Gallagher has been quite busy in 2019, having released three EPs with his accompanying band High Flying Birds while touring the United States with Smashing Pumpkins. In the meantime, Gallagher finished another extended play, which is set to arrive this year.

The Blue Moon Rising will be out on March 6th, 2020, with EP’s leading single “Wandering Star” being presented back in November. The release will feature five songs including three original tracks and two remixes.
