Greta Van Fleet are getting ready to drop their third studio album Starcatcher later this week and its follow-up is already on the way! The Grammy-winning rock band revealed they’re about to start working on their next album in a recent interview.

Greta Van Fleet recently set down with Billboard to discuss their plans for the future, starting with the release of their album Starcatcher on July 21. With this record, they wanted to “revert back to rock ‘n’ roll, and what does this [genre] truly mean for our generation.”

They already gave us a taste of things to come with several singles, including “Meeting the Master”, “The Falling Sky”, “Sacred the Thread”, and “Farewell for Now”. When asked to pick their favorite, the drummer Danny Wagner said it’s pretty difficult to narrow it down.

“Because of how vast their sounds and meanings are… I have favorites to play, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it was my favorite to write or listen to in any sense,” he explained.

In terms of their future plans, he also said they’re always moving on to the next thing, adding they’re about to start working on their next album. It will probably take a while before they hit the studio since they’re also getting ready to embark on a world tour, set to kick off in Nashville, Tennessee on July 24.
