Morgan Wallen has been ruling over the Billboard Hot 100 chart for months, and he’s showing no signs of stopping. His smash hit “Last Night” returned to No. 1 for the 14th non-consecutive week, tying for the fifth-longest reign in the history of the chart.

“Last Night” returned to No. 1 this week, dethroning Olivia Rodrigo’s “Vampire”, with 75.4 million radio airplay audience impressions, 28.6 million streams, and 7,000 downloads. This news comes shortly after “Last Night” made history as the first song to accrue 1 billion on-demand streams in the United States in a single year.

After 14 weeks at No. 1, “Last Night” tied the record for the fifth-longest reign in the Billboard Hot 100 history. It joins in the ranks of “Uptown Funk!” by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars, “I Gotta Feeling” by The Black Eyed Peas, and “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston. The all-time record is still held by the viral hit “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus.

This week on the Billboard Hot 100 chart has also been quite historic for Taylor Swift, who became the first woman to simultaneously enter the top ten with songs from three different albums – “I Can See You” from Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), “Cruel Summer” from Lover, and “Karma” ft. Ice Spice from Midnights.
