Demi Lovato announced her next album Revamped and this record is shaping up to be a true blast from the past. The upcoming compilation album will feature rock versions of her biggest hits, and she gave us a taste of things to come with “Sorry Not Sorry” featuring Slash.

Lovato, who recently went back from using they/them to she/her pronouns, recently announced a new album that takes her back to her roots – but with a rock-flavored twist. She made a shift from pop to rock on her latest studio album Holy Fvck, and she’s looking forward to exploring her early rock influences further on the upcoming compilation album Revamped.

“I wanted to pay homage to the songs that resonated the most with fans and played a big role in my career by breathing an exciting new life into them. Creating this project has been incredibly fun and allowed me to express my passion for rock music in a new way,” Lovato said in a statement.

Revamped will hit the shelves on September 15, and it’s expected to feature ten re-recorded versions of her biggest hits. She gave us a taste of things to come with a rock rendition of “Sorry Not Sorry” featuring Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, which was preceded by rock versions of “Heart Attack” and “Cool for the Summer”.
