The Stone Roses may be old news but whenever summer gets close, they regain their appeal and we start praying for another reunion concert.

There doesn’t seem to be one in the works but hey, if you’re reading this Ian Brown, we want another comeback tour. And here are the 10 songs we want you to play.

Breaking Into Heaven

Yup, that’s right. We’re kicking the list off with a track from the vastly less popular Second Coming. It’s a strong album opener and the lyrics are banging.

Fools Gold

When a track as banging as “Fools Gold” doesn’t make it onto the album, you know that you’re onto a winner.

Shoot You Down

The way the melodies of John Squire’s guitar and Ian Brown’s voice intertwine here is a reminder of why The Stone Roses are one of the most creative bands of the ’90s.

I Am The Ressurection

Uh, just take our money already. We’ll do anything to see you play this live one more time.

Standing Here

“I’m standing here, I really don’t think you know that I’m in heaven when you smile.” I mean.. AWW.

Waterfall

An obvious choice but an absolute classic.

She Bangs The Drums

An anthem for all the boho beauties out there aka 99% of the ladies reading this article.

So Young

Oh yeah, we went there. The back catalog is where the hidden gems are.

This Is The One

This really is the one. I’ve seen them live twice and god bless the crowd at Manchester, who sung so loudly that Ian Brown didn’t even need to pick up the microphone.

Love Spreads

One words: CLASSIC. If you reunite and play all ten of these tracks, we’ll buy all your mediocre solo stuff. We promise.
