James Blunt is back in the studio and ready to surprise us with a new album this fall. It will be titled Once Upon a Mind, and the British singer described it as the most honest record he’s ever made.
Blunt compared his latest studio effort with his debut album Back to Bedlam, because it allowed him to dive deep into his personal experiences and create a truly emotional record.
“I think this is the most honest album I have ever made… Every song on this album represents something that I’m currently going through or have recently experienced. It’s a very personal record, and I’m proud I can share it,” the “You’re Beautiful” singer said in a statement.
Once Upon a Mind will be released by Atlantic Records on October 25th, and Blunt already shared the cover art, track list, and new single “Cold” with his fans. He’s also gearing up to embarked on a tour around Europe next year, starting with first concert at the Arena Birmingham on Valentine’s Day.
