Rihanna fans have something to look forward to. The singer recently teased in a recent Instagram post that a new song is coming “soon”.
To celebrate Women’s History Month this March, Rihanna posted a video to Instagram which highlighted her career as a Black woman. The video shows clips of her achievements as a musician, performer, designer, and philanthropist. She captioned the post, “grateful to the most High for putting die hard supporters in my circle…congrats to everyone that contributed to this era, thank you team.”
In the comments section, one fan asked Rihanna to “celebrate by releasing a song”, to which she responded, “I think I should” with a “soon” emoji, and added, “just 1 tho lol”.
The singer’s last studio album Anti was released back in 2016. Last year she was featured on “Believe It” by PARTYNEXTDOOR.
In December 2020, during an interview with Closer, Rihanna said that the pandemic has helped her become more creative. “2021 is a little unknown for everybody … my creativity is within my control though, and I want to take my music and my brands to a different level.”
Rihanna still hasn’t announced a release date for new music yet.
