It’s been about a year since All Time Low dropped their album Wake Up, Sunshine, and they already have some new music on the way. The band surprised their fans by dropping a hopeful new single “Once in a Lifetime”, accompanied by an equally amazing music video.

The Max Moore-video focuses on a young couple who breaks into an empty house and invites their friends to come over. Once everyone’s there, they’re shown taking photos, having pillow fights, lighting sparklers, dancing around, and having the time of their life.

According to the band’s frontman Alex Gaskarth,“Once in a Lifetime” is a song about dealing with loss and facing harsh realities so you could come out stronger on the other side.

“We wrote this song in bleaker times, in a world still asleep at the wheel that left us all relearning how to navigate the uncertain roads ahead, but ultimately there is a hopeful undertone to the entire sentiment,” said the All Time Low singer in a statement.

Gaskarth also added that this song feels like it was cut from the same cloth as their hit single “Monsters” featuring Blackbear. At this point, it’s still unclear if “Once in a Lifetime” will be a part of the band’s potential new album.
