With 2019 coming to a close, everyone’s making “best of” list for the decade that has passed. But what about the decade before it?

The 2000s were surely one of the most unusual periods in music history known for combining many different styles and giving modern music a new fresh direction; not to mention the famous clothing styles of the era that contributed to the uniqueness of the music videos and make us laugh today with their wackiness.

Even though it was a pretty strange and fast-moving time, it did give us some of the greatest hit songs ever recorded. We can still hear many of those songs on the radio, at the club, or while randomly surfing YouTube, and they instantly take us back to the good times in the 2000s.

Here are the 10 greatest hits that hypnotized the world at the beginning of this century, and you know you want to hear them again.
