San Diego rockers Wavves have decided to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their third studio album King of the Beach with their fans. The band recently announced that they would embark on a tour across North America as part of the celebration while also planning to release a vinyl reissue of the record.

King of the Beach was released in August 2010 and failed to make significant noise in terms of the sale. The critical reception, however, was overwhelmingly positive reviews from the critics who called it “devilishly fun listen.”

Wavves will tour in April and May, with the trip kicking off on April 10th In Phoenix. The group will then visit 25 more cities, including Boston, New York, and Chicago, before wrapping up the tour in Los Angeles on May 18th. Check out the full dates below.

The release of the vinyl reissue will align with the start of the tour, and will also be out on April 10 via Fat Possum. The reissue will feature an alternative cover, which was considered for the original but was scrapped just days before the official release. The fans who purchase the LP will also get a 7″ that features tracks “Mutant” and “Stained Glass (Won’t You Let Me Into Yr Heart).”
