British alternative rock band Wolf Alice is getting ready to step into the studio to record album number three.

Their second album, Visions Of A Life, was released in 2018. The band received a Mercury Music Prize for the record. Now, according to Dirty Hit boss Jamie Oborne, the band is heading to the studio next month to record the follow-up.

“It’s going well,” Oborne told NME. “The guys are just writing. The demos are pretty well-formed, we’ve settled on a producer and they’ll be starting in about a month’s time. It’s going to be amazing. They’re an incredible band already but seem really inspired to make their best album.

“I feel like this is going to be a great expression. They won the Mercury Prize with the last one, Ellie [Rowsell, singer] is such a force.”

We have no details of the upcoming album but if they stick to schedule, Wolf Alice will likely be bringing out an album in late 2020.
