During his recent live show in Las Vegas, Paul McCartney decided to recruit a very famous guest to help him perform “Helter Skelter.” McCartney invited Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler to the stage midway through the second part of the show and the duo joined forces for an electrifying rendition of this White Album classic.

Not long after the show, Tyler decided to share a video of himself and McCarney performing the song on social media. You can check it below.

Steven Tyler found himself on familiar ground with the song, as he and Aerosmith regularly featured “Helter Skelter” on their live shows in the ’70s and then in the early 2000s. Although the band last performed this The Beatles hit in 2006, you can enjoy the studio version from 1991. This version was initially recorded during the Toys in the Attic session and was later released as part of Pandora’s Box compilation.

While Paul McCartney leaves Las Vegas soon to continue his tour across North America, Tyler will stick around in the “Sin City” for a while. Aerosmith is in the middle of their Las Vegas residency which they perform at the Park Theater. The band is expected to play in Las Vegas through July, and then come back again for a series of dates in the fall.
