These Were the Most-Watched Acts of Glastonbury 2019

Glastonbury 2019 is officially over but what we want to know is.. who came out on top? While David Attenborough received a huge reception on the Pyramid Stage and Billie Eilish drew in the largest crowd the Other Stage has ever seen, what we want to know is which of the headliners pulled in the top viewing figures.

Stormzy pulled in 800,000 viewers on Friday

In fifth place is Stormzy, who pulled in just shy of a million viewers on Friday night on BBC 2. Although he did not come out on top when it came to TV viewers, he received 160,000 mentions on Twitter, almost as many as the other headlining acts combined.

Janet Jackson pulled in 1.1 million viewers on Saturday

Janet Jackson pulled in over a million viewers and came in forth place. It was the star’s first performance at the festival only she arrived six minutes late and fans accused her of miming.

The Cure pulled in 1.2 million viewers on Sunday

The Cure pulled in 1.2 million viewers on BBC2 and also received
91.9% positive feedback from fan mentions on social media.

The Killers pulled in 1.4 million viewers on Saturday

The Killers came in second, pulling in less than half as many viewers as Kylie. They also received 29,600 social media mentions and their new album has jumped from 55th to 8th in this week’s chart update.

Kylie Minogue pulled in 3 million viewers on Sunday

The winner is without a doubt Kylie Minogue, who blew the competition out the water and pulled in 3 million viewers on BBC1 this weekend. She was joined with the biggest crowd and her sensational performance was broadcasted on BBC One. Hence the major viewing figures.
