Pop star Ed Sheeran recently made a surprise guest appearance with British rockers The Darkness for their show at London’s iconic Roundhouse venue. Sheeran not only served as an opening act for the band, but he also joined them on stage for a rendition of 2003’s hit “Love Is Only a Feeling.”
Now, the Darkness decided to give the fans a sneak peek behind the scenes by sharing a video of the acoustic rehearsal of “Love Is Only a Feeling” that the group and Sheeran did in the dressing room.
The band also promised that they will soon release the “full official live performance.” But until that happens, you can check out the fan footage of Sheeran and The Darkness playing the song live below.
Ed Sheeran has been a longtime fan of The Darkness. During his guest appearance, he told the audience that they were one of his favorite bands while he was growing up and that “it was always my dream as a kid to open up for them, so I’m living the dream.”
This wasn’t the first time that The Darkness and Sheeran shared the stage. The band actually served as a supporting act during Sheeran’s Divide Tour in 2019.
