The Recording Academy unveiled on Thursday that comedian Trevor Noah will host the 2024 Grammy Awards. This will be the fourth straight time that Noah appears in the same role at the Grammys.

The ceremony for the 2024 Grammy Awards is scheduled for February 4 and will take place at the Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena.

Noah also confirmed he’ll return to host the Grammys on his What Now? With Trevor Noah podcast.

“I’m hosting the Grammys. I’m excited about that, yeah,” Noah said. “It’s a lot of fun. I enjoy the Grammys because I get to watch the show in person and then experience and comment on it in person while it’s happening.”

The 2024 editions of the awards ceremony will be special for Noah. He will not only be the host but is also one of the nominees. Former The Daily Show host is in the running for Best Comedy Album award with I Wish You Would.

Trevor Noah becomes only the fifth person to host the Grammy Awards and be nominated for an award in the same year. The feat was previously achieved by Kenny Rodgers, Paul Simon, John Denver, and Queen Latifah. Also, only Denver, Andy Williams, and LL Cool J will have hosted the Grammys ceremony more times than Noah.
