Fans of Steven Van Zandt’s band Little Seven were looking forward to his fall tour, but they’ll have to wait for a little bit longer to hear him live. Rock legend had to cancel a series of tour dates so he could focus on his health.

This announcement comes shortly after Van Zandt was forced to cancel several tour dates due to sinusitis on doctor’s orders, but his break will be much longer this time around.

“I thought I could shake this sinusitis, but it doesn’t seem to be going away. I’ve never canceled shows before. I feel terrible about this, but my doctors are telling me there’s just no way to continue right now. I really hope we can make up these dates someday somehow,” said Steven Van Zandt in a statement.

He also took a moment to thank the fans for all of their support during this difficult time. Despite the fact most of the dates have been canceled, Little Seven will perform two shows this November in Boston and New York City, set to be filmed for a live DVD and album release.
