We all celebrated International Women’s Day in our own special way – and so did Spotify. The popular streaming service marked this date by revealing the list of 20 most-streamed female artists of 2019 so far.
Ariana Grande, who already broke a bunch of Spotify records since dropping her latest album “Thank U, Next”, obviously came on top. She was closely followed by newcomer Billie Eilish, who’s making her debut this month with first LP “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?”
Lady Gaga, Halsey and Dua Lipa rounded out the top five, after topping the charts left and right in the last few months. Spotify’s list also featured several artist we constantly have on repeat, no matter how long it has been since their last album – including Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Beyoncé.
