Not many bands can say they had an opportunity to perform at Egypt’s Great Pyramids of Giza – but Red Hot Chili Peppers are getting ready to become one of those who do. The Californian rockers wanted to make sure everyone can see this performance of a lifetime and decided to stream it live.

Red Hot Chili Peppers delivered a handful of unforgettable performances, but this one will be unlike anything they’ve done before. Band’s bassist Flea said his heart is abuzz with joy at the prospect of performing in Egypt, and we’re pretty sure the rest of his buddies feel the same way.

“I’m so grateful and humbled for the impending experience. The pyramids, it’s unbelievable, we just jumped at the opportunity. I have always been fascinated by Egypt and that region of the world and I am so excited to go,” said Flea.

This landmark show will take on March 15 and live stream is set to start at 2pm EST.
