Dinosaur Jr. just announced a special event aimed towards their fans and those who love rock music. The band will host a four day rock camp this summer featuring their live performances, workshops, solo sets, and lot more.

The event, titled Camp Fuzz, will take place from July 30th to August 2nd in upstate New York. Dinosaur Jr.’s J Mascis, Lou Barlow, and Murph will serve as camp’s “councilors” and are preparing lots of interesting content for “campers.” Mascis will host workshops on guitar pedals and Barlow will give 4-string guitar and ukulele clinic, while both of them will have their solo sets. Murph, on the other hand, will give a drum workshop with special guests.

Tickets for Camp Fuzz are already on sale and start at $999 per person. The ticket includes accommodations, free drinks and food, entry to all events, and use of the rehearsal spaces and equipment.

“Camp Fuzz with Dinosaur Jr. bridges the gap between artist and audience, offering fans a chance to meet and interact with the band at this pastoral, one hundred acre mountain resort, “dedicated to the celebration of music and the arts in nature”. With very special guests and more programming to be announced soon, this interactive experience is not to be missed.” – wrote the band on their Facebook page about the event.

Dinosaur Jr.’s most recent studio release came in 2016 when they presented Give a Glimpse of What Yer Not. The record met with positive reactions from the critics while peaking at No. 73 on US Billboard 200. The band hasn’t released new music since.
