Pixies are giving fans a rare look into their entire process of recording in the studio.
The entire process of making their album Beneath the Eyrie will be featured in a 12-episode podcast series titled It’s a Pixies Podcast. Their process includes songwriting, recording and mixing the music for the record as well as snippets of their time in their studio, Dreamland Recordings near Woodstock, NY.
The series is narrated by British music journalist Tony Fletcher. It will also include interviews between him and the band members as well as with album producer Tony Dalgety.
The series debuts June 27.
