Ozzy Osbourne’s fans have been looking forward to seeing him perform live in the next few months, but the legendary metal musician decided to put his tour on hold for the time being so he could focus on his health.

Osbourne was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease earlier this year, and decided to cancel the upcoming No More Tours II after learning his treatment is scheduled for April and that it will take six to eight weeks.

“I don’t want to start a tour and then cancel shows at the last minute, as it’s just not fair to the fans. I’d rather they get a refund now and when I do the North American tour down the road, everyone who bought a ticket for these shows will be the first ones in line to purchase tickets at that time,” said Osbourne in a statement.

The North American leg of No More Tours II was supposed to kick off on May 27th in Atlanta, but the former Black Sabbath singer decided to postpone it and focus on his health instead. This cancellation doesn’t affect European dates, and he’s still scheduled to perform in Newcastle, England on October 23rd and stay on the road until the end of fall.
