The Brit Awards marked the 40th anniversary this year, and it was certainly a ceremony to remember. The amazing live performances made the show worth watching, while top honors went to Lewis Capaldi and Dave.

Both artists were leading the list of nominations at this year’s ceremony with four, but Dave was the one who ended up walking away with the best album award. Capaldi celebrated the song of the year victory with “Someone You Loved”, and was also named the best new artist.

Comedian Jack Whitehall returned to host the ceremony for the third time, but he wasn’t the only one who brought some drama to the stage. Many of the nominated artists performed at the ceremony, including Lewis Capaldi, Lizzo, Harry Styles, and Billie Eilish, who gave us the first live performance of her newly released James Bond theme song “No Time to Die”.
