Mean Girls: The Musical is one of the most exciting new movies coming to theatres this winter, and its soundtrack is going to be fire! The Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion recently revealed she recorded a song for this movie alongside its leading lady Reneé Rapp.

Stallion dressed up in an all-pink outfit to announce the duet with Rapp, who’s playing Regina George in the upcoming musical remake of the beloved 2000s cult classic.

“What’s up y’all? It’s Megan Thee Stallion, aka the Black Regina George, and I’m excited to introduce my girl to the stage. We have a new song coming out for Mean Girls. That’s right, give it up for the new fantastic plastic, Renee Rapp,” said  Stallion in the video, which Rapp later shared on her Instagram Story.

Stallion didn’t share any details about this project, but it’s safe to expect it would be released by January 12, 2024, when Mean Girls: The Musical is set to hit the theatres.

Megan Thee Stallion’s latest single “Cobra” was released independently last month, and it hit No. 32 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. According to Billboard’s recent report, the rapper recently signed a new record deal with Warner Music Group, but she still intends to maintain ownership of her music.
