Members of English rock band Keane took a break to pursue their solo projects in 2013, but they’re ready for a comeback. After a lot of speculations about the group’s future, they finally confirmed new album is coming our way this year.

Fans were ecstatic after the members of Keane shared the amazing news on Twitter, confirming they won’t have to wait much longer for their fifth studio album.

“We’ve seen a lot of questions asking what we’ve been up to over the last few months. We’ve been desperate to tell you that we’re busy making another album, which we’ll release later this year. It’s not quite finished yet, but we’ll keep you posted!” reads band’s official statement.

Keane went on hiatus back in 2013, after their “Best Of” compilation hit the shelves. They’ve been hinting a comeback since the end of last year, but it took them a while to officially confirm they’re working on a follow up to their last album “Strangeland”.
