It’s been a few weeks since Jack Harlow dropped his latest studio album Jackman, and he just dropped the music video for one of its most haunting songs. The poignant visual for “Gang Gang Gang” is here and it sees Harlow’s unconditional love for his childhood friends put to the test.

Jack Harlow raps, “Years of camaraderie suddenly disappear /Almost like you never were here, Unconditional love becomes very conditioned when push comes to shove” while reflecting on the path some of his childhood friends took later in life.

Each verse is more haunting than the last, as we listen to the rapper reflect on the bad choices his friends made and the dark roads they went down as adults. The song sees the rapper sending a strong message about holding people accountable for their actions and calling out their problematic behavior – even the ones once closest to you.

Like the visual for his former single “They Don’t Love It”, this Eliel Ford-directed video was filmed entirely in Harlow’s hometown of Louisville, Kentucky and it sees the rapper going back to his roots.

“Gang Gang Gang” was one of the ten tracks featured on Harlow’s surprise album Jackman, which hit the shelves on April 28, and debuted within the top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart.
