It’s been ten years since the Swedish EDM duo Icona Pop dropped their last album, and they’re finally ready for a comeback. Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo announced the release of Club Romantech, their first studio album in almost a decade.

Icona Pop’s third studio album will hit the shelves on September 1, and it will be released through Swedish independent record label TEN Music Group and Ultra. It will feature collaborations with Joel Corry, Sofi Tukker, Yaeger, Ultra Nate, and Galantis and several songs that the duo released since 2020.

“Feels in My Body”, “Spa”, “Off of My Mind”, “You’re Free”, “I Want You”, “Faster”, and “S-it We Do for Love” will be some of the songs featured on this record, along with Icona Pop’s latest single “Where Do We Go from Here”.

Hjelt and Jawo experimented with many different sounds while working on this album. They didn’t set any rules for themselves and only focused on the vision that they wanted to share with their fans.

“We put all of our problems and stress into what we’re doing. We love disguising our heartbreaks and sadness in uplifting songs you can dance to. It was a very emotional process, and it’s all in the music,” said the duo in a statement.
