Ice Spice has been working on her debut album for quite some time, and her work is finally done! The Grammy-nominated rapper confirmed that she finished recording her first full-length studio album Y2K, but she’s yet to announce its official release date.

Ice Spice shared the exciting news by posting two photos of herself in the classic 2000s outfit, which includes pink platform heels, a white shirt, and a denim skirt with a statement belt. She captioned the photo by writing, “I finished recording y2k the album ^.^”

Ice Spice announced the release of Y2K in an interview on The Today Show back in January when she revealed her debut album is hitting the shelves this year. She also said her debut LP will feature a “crazy collaboration”, but we’re yet to learn who she was referring to.

The rising hop-hoop star also told Billboard this album is some of her best work, and added that “it’s not going to be too long – it’s going to be sweet and to the point.”

Y2K will mark Ice Spice’s debut studio album, but she already found significant success with her EP Like..? last year, which featured her viral hits “Munch (Feelin’ U)”, “Bikini Bottom”, “In Ha Mood”, and “Princess Diana”.
