The iconic British rock band Genesis is getting back together. The group announced that they are reuniting in their classical lineup — keyboardist Tony Banks, guitarist Mike Rutherford and drummer/singer Phil Collins – for The Last Domino? tour in November and December.

Long-time Genesis touring bassist Daryl Stuermer will join in the core members on stage alongside Collins’ son Nic, who will sit behind drums.

The tour, the band’s first since 2007, will consist out of 10 shows that will take place in the UK and Ireland. It starts on November 16th in Dublin and wraps up on December 11th in Glasgow. It is unclear whether more dates will be added at a later time.

The reunion was first hinted back in 2019 when Mike Rutherford made an appearance on Phil Collins’ solo show in Berlin. Rutherford joined Collins on stage to play Genesis’ hit “Follow You Follow Me,” and told the audience that he and other Genesis members are still good friends, and they might get together at some point.

Reunion talks were further sparked in early 2020 when all three members were spotted together at a basketball game, and rumors started circling that they were in the middle of rehearsals.

Genesis’ last show together was on October 13th, when they performed at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl.
