From Hellmouth to First of All, Doja Cat teased several potential titles for her new studio album, leaving her fans scratching their heads. Her tweets stirred a lot of confusion online, but she recently cleared the air and revealed why she kept changing the title of her upcoming LP.

The rapper opened up about her plans for the future during a roundtable interview at the Patrón El Cielo launch party in New York City, and revealed she kept changing the title of her upcoming album because she “put her ADHD on display.”

“I thought that Hellmouth was the name of the album, but then it wasn’t. But I’m good at doing things last minute. So I’ve been firing off random stuff and reading comments and seeing how people receive it and then, you know, saying ‘no’ a lot, ‘Just kidding.’ I do think that I finally have a title,” she explained.

Doja Cat left her fans confused with a string of erratic tweets in recent months. In addition to constantly changing the name of her upcoming album, she described her hit records Hot Pink and Planet Her as cash grabs, made for people who “weep for mediocre pop.”

She confirmed she wants to distance herself from pop on her next album during the roundtable, saying it’s going to be “different” because she’s ready to enter a “darker” phase of her sound and style.
