Kiss’ farewell End of the Road tour is getting even bigger. The American rock icons recently announced that the former Van Halen vocalist David Lee Roth will join the band on stage during the final leg of the tour.

According to the press release, Lee Roth will be a part of Kiss’ live shows between February and October of 2020. The group is scheduled to play around 45 dates during that period.

“David Lee Roth will bring his exciting stage show featuring a twin guitar big rock sound and a setlist of classic hits and future energy,” Kiss’ official statement reads.

Lee Roth’s commitment to End of the Road tour means any hope that the long-rumored Van Halen reunion will take place soon is now gone. The 65-year-old vocalist himself also dismissed the reunion talks earlier in 2019, even saying that the band “is finished.”

Kiss kicked off the End of the Road tour back in January and are scheduled to be on the road until the summer of 2021, when they’ll have one last concert in their hometown of New York City on July 17, 2021. The group is currently in Asia, where they are wrapping up their five-cities Japan mini-tour.
