Chance the Rapper is preparing something special for the 10th anniversary of his seminal extended play Acid Rap. The Grammy Award-winning rapper just announced a series of activities to celebrate the EP, including a huge show in his hometown of Chicago.

The Acid Rap Ten Year Anniversary Show will take place on August 19 at United Center, marking Chance the Rapper’s first performance in the arena in more than four years. The tickets for the show, which will feature rapper and producer Saba as support, are already available for presale, with the general sale starting on Friday through Live Nation.

Besides the big show in Chicago, Chance the Rapper plans to commemorate Acid Rap in various other ways. This includes making the EP’s standout track, “Juice,” available on streaming platforms for the first time, organizing multiple live events and pop-ups, and releasing official merchandise.

Chance the Rapper released Acid Rap as a free digital download on April 30, 2013. The mixtape was met with widespread critical acclaim and made it to various lists of best albums of the year. In 2019, the EP received its official re-release on streaming services and reached No. 5 on US Billboard 200.
