Cardi B has just announced that she will no longer be performing at Parklife Festival 2019.

The festival is due to take place this weekend (June 8) and Cardi B had a headlining slot. It was recently announced, however, that the pop star has been forced to cancel several shows while she recovers from plastic surgery.

Her doctor has instructed her to take time off while her body heals and has been particularly firm on her not taking any planes. As her planned tour is international, this has put her in the position where she has had to cancel many shows.

Parklife organizers announced in a statement: “As some of you will have seen, Cardi B was forced to cancel some performances in May. The Parklife team have just been notified that Cardi now also needs to pull out of Parklife this weekend. As such there will be some changes to the previously advertised lineup, stage splits, and times. We are working on this currently.”

They also confirmed that the updated schedule will be announced on Friday (June 7) at 7 pm, less than 24 hours before the festival kicks off.
