If you needed another proof Cardi B is an unstoppable force of nature, here it comes. The famous rapper is already prepping her second album, and she’s hoping to drop it next year.
Cardi B announced this news the same way she always does – in one of her infamous Instagram Lives. She didn’t reveal much detail about her next record, but it’s safe to expect it next year.
“Of course, it’s going to be an album in 2019. Hopefully, I can get my album done around the same time that Invasion of Privacy came out. I don’t know how possible that’s going to be because I feel like I’m going to be extremely, extremely busy,” said Cardi B.
It’s nice to see she’s being realistic there at the end, since this seems like a promise that’s impossible to keep. We’ll take her word for it and hope she surprises us with new album in 2019, but it’s highly unlikely it will drop on Invasion of Privacy anniversary, since it came out on April 5.
Even if Cardi isn’t done working on her new album until the end of 2019, she won’t leave her fans empty-handed. Deluxe edition of Invasion of Privacy is coming out on January 25, and it will feature her latest single Money.
