Calvin Harris is currently busy plotting his next album and he’s bringing some pretty amazing collaborators on board. He just dropped a music video for his latest catchy track “Potion” featuring Dua Lipa and Young Thug.

The Emil Nava-directed visual consists of a series of clips fading into each other, perfectly fitting the song’s sensual vibe. Retro costumes, pink and purple tones, and funky beat add to the song’s 80s vibe and the music video is giving us a major nostalgia overload.

Harris used “Potion” to tease his next studio album, the follow-up to his 2017 record Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1. This record comes after a pretty quiet year for Harris since he hasn’t collaborated with any major artists ever since recording “Over Now” alongside The Weeknd in 2020.

Harris said it’s an honor to work with Dua and Thug again because “they’re both such dynamic artists who have contributed so much to today’s musical landscape.”

Young Thug was one of the artists featured on his previous album, as they collaborated on the song “Heatstroke”, also featuring Pharrell Williams and Ariana Grande. He also joined forces with Lipa in 2018, on her smash hit single “One Kiss”, which reached No. 1 in the UK.
