Selena Gomez is currently promoting the upcoming second season of her show Only Murders in the Building, but that’s not the only thing keeping her busy. The Grammy-nominated singer recently confirmed she’s working on her new album and discussing the possibility of going back to touring.

Gomez recently set down with Deadline for the Crew Call podcast to discuss her Hulu show, but that wasn’t the only topic of the conversation. When asked what’s on the horizon for her after Season 2 of Only Murders in the Building, the singer said she’s currently in Los Angles, working on her new album.

When asked if she’s considering promoting her next album by embarking on a tour, Gomez said she’s open to the possibility of hitting the road.

“I’m open to a tour, one thousand percent, but I obviously have obligations and things I wanna do, so when the time’s right. It’s not the top of my priority list,” she explained.

Gomez hasn’t toured ever since 2016, when she spent three months on the road promoting her album Revival, before canceling the rest of the shows due to health problems. This record was followed by her 2020 album Rare, which produced hit singles  “Lose You to Love Me” and “Look at Her Now”.
