All the hype surrounding Grande’s latest music video for “Thank U, Next” has got everyone even more excited about her upcoming album. The singer has commended the countdown for the big release via her Instagram story and has announced that her new single will drop tonight (Thursday 12).

She has also shared on her Instagram some details about the upcoming album. It sounds like it is going to be as honest, personal and brilliant as what we have heard from Grande already this year.
“A lot of this album mourns failed yet important, beautiful relationships in my life (as well as celebrates growth / exploring new independence),” she wrote. “But for those of you asking about imagine: I would say if ‘thank u, next’ = acceptance… ‘imagine’ = denial. hope that makes sense.”
