A Lynyrd Skynyrd Concert Will Get Theatrical Screenings

The September 2, 2018, concert of Lynyrd Skynyrd at TIAA Bank Field in their hometown of Jacksonville was supposed to be the last show on their farewell tour. The southern rock band has since then extended the tour but the show mentioned above will be available to more fans very soon.

The 107 minutes’ concert will get a theatrical screening on multiple screens on November 7. Ticket sales will begin on October 4 on Fathom’s website, where you can also find out the locations of the screenings. Lynyrd Skynyrd: Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour, which includes the concert plus an interview with the band.

“We can’t wait to share this amazing night and performance with the Skynyrd Nation, especially those that weren’t able to be there that evening,” said the band’s guitarist Gary Rossington. “The energy, passion, and reaction to the music and band was something we will never forget.”

“We’re thrilled to bring one of America’s most iconic bands to movie theaters across the country and give their many fans an opportunity to come together and enjoy one of their final performances,” said Ray Nutt of Fathom Events.
