Summer has given us some pretty amazing new albums, and August has a few more in store. We’re bringing you five brand-new LPs from Hozier, Jon Batiste, and more worth putting on your playlist this month.

The Hives – The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons (August 11)

It’s been almost a decade since The Hives dropped their last studio album, and their big comeback is just around the corner. The Swedish rock band teased their upcoming album with singles “Countdown to Shutdown” and “Bogus Operandi”.

Hozier – Unreal Unearth (August 18)

Hozier gave us some amazing new music with his EP Eat Your Young earlier this year, but this record only served as an intro for his highly-anticipated third studio album Unreal Unearth.

Jon Batiste – World Music Radio (August 18)

Following the Grammy-winning success of We Are, Jon Batiste is coming back with World Music Radio, which will feature contributions from Lana Del Rey, Lil Wayne, NewJeans, and JID.

Reneé Rapp – Snow Angel (August 18)

Reneé Rapp made a shocking decision to leave the HBO Max comedy series The S-x Lives of College Girls to focus on touring, and all eyes are now on her debut studio album Snow Angel.

Ashnikko – Weedkiller (August 25)

After using the power of TikTok to put her music on the map, Ashnikko will finally release her debut studio album this month. She’s given us a taste of things to come with the singles “You Make Me Sick!”, “Worms”, and “Weedkiller”.
