Young Thug’s first album has been a long time coming, and the moment is finally here. The famous rapper recently shared some exciting news about this highly-anticipated record and revealed it’s coming our way in a couple of days.

The famous rapper surprised his fans when he unveiled the cover art of his new album So Much Fun on social media and added it will drop the shelves on August 16th. There’s a special meaning behind this date, and Young Thug picked it because he wanted to celebrate the release of his first album on his birthday.

Despite the fact this is his first LP, Young Thug is already a mainstay on the hip-hop scene. In addition to dropping a series of successful mixtapes and EPs, he made it to the top spot on Billboard Hot 100 chart with Camila Cabello collaboration “Havana”, and won two Grammys for co-writing Childish Gambino’s smash hit “This is America”.

Young Thug is yet to share singles from his new album, and “The London” featuring J. Cole and Travis Scott is the only one we’ve heard so far.
