Holiday songs are ruling the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week, but it’s just a matter of time before they leave, vacating the majority of the top ten. We can’t wait to see who’ll take the No. 1 spot once the holidays are over, and here are five of the strongest candidates.

Jack Harlow – “Loving on Me”

Jack Harlow’s “Loving on Me” was the only non-holiday song in the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, so it’ll be the strongest No. 1 contender coming into the New Year.

Tate McRae – “Greedy”

Tate McRae’s “Greedy” is one of the biggest viral hits in the world right now, and it’s been constantly topping global Spotify, but does it have what it takes to soar to No. 1?

Taylor Swift – “Cruel Summer”

It was quite ironic to see Taylor Swift’s “Cruel Summer” reach No. 1 for the first time in the middle of the fall, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see it make a comeback after spending three weeks on top.

SZA – “Snooze”

SZA’s “Snooze” peaked at No. 2, and it seems she went as far as she could with this song, but could the release of the SOS deluxe edition LANA push it to the top of the Hot 100 chart?

Tyla – “Water”

Tyla’s breakout hit “Water” peaked at No. 10 before the holiday songs took over the Hot 100 chart, but we’re expecting it to reach a new high once they’re gone.
