Tyla’s debut album is hitting the shelves next month, and she found a way to get us extra excited for its release. The South African singer dropped the music video for “Truth or Dare”, the second single from her upcoming self-titled album Tyla.

Directed by NABIL, who previously collaborated with the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Frank Ocean, the video of “Truth or Dare” serves some major 2000s vibes. It sees Tyla going back and forth with her ex before chasing each other on the open road, only for the singer to steal his car key and leave him all alone in the rain.

“Truth or Dare” was released as the second single from Tyla’s upcoming debut album, following the success of her global hit “Water”. It initially hit the shelves on December 1, with new songs “Butterflies” and “On and On”, before being promoted as a single.

Tyla’s debut album will be released on March 22, and there’s a reason why she decided to keep it self-titled.

“For now, my introduction to the world, I just wanted to be clean, Tyla. I want people to get to know my name and get to know my sound because my first project is going to be Tyla in music form. So, I felt like self-titled would’ve been the best way to go,” she told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe.
