The Japanese studio Ghibli is responsible for a score of beloved and critically acclaimed animated films. Apart from the beautiful art and the compelling stories, the films owe part of their success to their great soundtracks. Now, two of these soundtracks will be getting a vinyl release for the first time.

The two records will be released by the New York record shop Turntable Lab’s in-house label. The label will oversee the release of composer Joe Hisaishi’s scores for Kiki’s Delivery Service (1989) and Porco Rosso (1992). Both scores will be remastered.

Kiki’s Delivery Service’s soundtrack will include two vocal tracks: “Rouge no Dengon” and “Wrapped in Kindness” featuring the singer and pianist Yumi Arai. The record will also include all musical cues from the original Japanese film and new artwork. Porco Rosso‘s soundtrack will also include two vocal tracks sung by Tokiko Kato. it will also include a 70-piece orchestra.

The two soundtracks join other classic Hisaishi soundtracks that were released in November 2018. Those releases include My Neighbor Totoro, Castle in the Sky, and Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.

The new limited-edition soundtracks will be released on March 30.
