Halsey’s new album is only a few days away, and she prepared a special treat for us before it finally hits the shelves. The music video for her latest single “You Should Be Sad” is here, and it features a series of epic scenes that seem pretty familiar.

The epic video directed by Colin Tilley shows Halsey visiting an underground country nightclub and line-dancing alongside a bunch of fellow club-goers. She’s rocking a cowboy hat and a bikini at the very beginning, but the rest of the video shows her wearing several different outfits she used to pay tribute to some of her favorite pop stars.

Shania Twain’s song “That Don’t Impress Me Much” obviously served as inspiration for this video. Halsey said the video is also “loaded with nods to bada** idols of mine”, including Lady Gaga, Carrie Underwood and Christina Aguilera.

“You Should Be Sad” is the latest single from her upcoming album Manic, set to come out on January 17th. It will also feature previously released tracks “Graveyard,” “Clementine,” “Finally // Beautiful Stranger,” and Billboard Hot 100 number-one single “Without Me.”
