Selena Gomez finally dropped her highly-anticipated third studio album Rare on Friday, and she celebrated its release in the best way possible – by sharing a whimsical music video for the song of the same name.

Gomez’s latest video was helmed by the Brooklyn-based directorial duo BRTHR and it’s straight out of a fairy tale. It sees the young singer wandering through a colorful forest filled with bubbles and butterflies, and wearing several mesmerizing dresses.

“Rare” serves as the titular single from her new album that came out on January 10th, and Gomez shared it with the world the same day her latest record came out.

Rare is out now. After 4 years of highs and lows and everything in between, I’m so happy to share it with the world. I hope you take this record that means so much to me and make it your own, that the songs resonate with you beyond the music. Love you guys. Like crazy,” wrote Gomez on YouTube.

The singer’s new studio effort was met with positive reviews from the critics, and it gave us two hit single before its release – the disco-inspired bop “Look at Her Now” and the no. 1 hit “Lose You to Love Me”.
