Travis Scott created quite a splash with his comeback album Utopia, and it was just a matter of time before this record climbed to the top of the charts. In addition to topping the Billboard 200, Utopia also charted all of its 19 tracks on the Billboard Hot 100.

After hitting the shelves on July 28, Utopia easily debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart, with 496,000 album-equivalent units sold. SEA units comprise 243,000, equaling 330.68 million on-demand official streams, which marks the second-biggest streaming week for an album in 2023.

Utopia also scored the second-largest week in album sales, with 252,000 copies sold. Its sales were enhanced by the availability in several different formats, including five CD variants, five vinyl LP variants, 15 deluxe boxed sets, and two Fan Pack offers. Vinyl sales comprise 79,000, marking the biggest week for an R&B/hip-hop since Luminate began tracking sales in 1991.

Utopia also made quite a splash on the Billboard Hot 100, with all of its 19 tracks making it to this chart. By doing so, he brought Scott’s total from 93 to 111 charted songs in his career, making him just the 15th artist with 100-plus career entries on the chart. The album’s lead single “K-Pop” ft. Bad Bunny and The Weeknd previously debuted at No. 7, while “Meltdown” ft. Drake and “FE!N,” ft. Playboi Carti reached the top five this week.
