Rapper Travis Scott isn’t a stranger to repeating songs during his live shows, sometimes even performing one track multiple times in a row. But he definitely outdid himself during this week’s concert at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

During the aforementioned live show, Scott performed the track “FE!N,” which was part of his most recent album, Utopia, 10 times in a row. As it turns out, he had pretty good reasons for that.

While appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Scott said that it was the fans who prompted him to keep playing the same song.

“Man, I have the best fans in the world,” Scott told host Jimmy Fallon. “I go off the energy they give me. And they were wild that night. And so I just got even wilder.”

As it turned out, the audience at the Madison Square Garden, where Scott played two days later, was even more energetic. This time, the rapper performed “FE!N” 12 times in a row. He also delivered a short teaser of the track and then performed it two additional times towards the end of the concert.

Travis Scott is currently touring North America in support of Utopia. He has shown in Boston, Newark, and Toronto to close out the year before resuming the trip in January with 11 more dates.
