Super Bowl wouldn’t be the same without its halftime show, and this year’s performance was one for the books. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar were in charge of headlining the show this year. They did a great job celebrating old-school hip-hop with their unforgettable performance that gave us some truly epic moments.

Dr. Dre

This year’s halftime show as a whole was a celebration of Dr. Dre and his impact on hip-hop in the past three decades. In addition to being featured as one of the performers, Dr. Dre wrote and produced many of the songs performed by other artists during the halftime show.

Mary J. Blidge

Mary J. Blige didn’t have a chance to fully unleash her power at the Super Bowl because the show featured additional four headliners, but her performance was still one of the night’s highlights. She rocked our world with amazing renditions of “Family Affair” and “No More Drama” and kept us asking for more.

Eminem

Eminem makes a spectacle every time he hits the stage, and his Super Bowl performance was no different. The rapper’s powerful rendition of his smash hit “Lose Yourself” was the talk of the night, especially after he took the knee at the end of his performance.
