It’s been over a month since The Weeknd dropped his latest studio album Dawn FM, and he found the perfect way to put it back in the spotlight. The Canadian singer joined forces with Amazon Prime for the music special The Weeknd x Dawn FM Experience.

The Weekend teased this project with a trailer directed by Micah Bickham, which shows his older self roaming empty streets, with police sirens wailing in the background. The trailer closes with the singer entering an abandoned building and fainting after a bright light shines on his face.

Dawn FM Experience will premiere on Amazon on February 26th, and The Weeknd said he’s ecstatic to partner with Amazon for his most elaborate live TV special so far. He described this new phase of Dawn FM as “a purgatory otherworld where live performance, theater, and performance art collide for a night out at the club”.

Dawn FM was originally released on January 7th, and it featured collaborations with Quincy Jones, Tyler, the Creator, Lil Wayne, and a surprise appearance from Jim Carry. It debuted at no. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and produced hit singles “Take My Breath” and “Sacrifice”.
