Super Bowl LVIII, which will decide the champion for the 2023 NFL season, just got a bit more exciting for the music fans. Aside from witnessing the Super Bowl Halftime Show performance by R&B star Usher, the fans will also get to enjoy the tunes of trance legend Tiesto.

Tiesto will serve as “the first in-game superstar DJ” for the upcoming Super Bowl. He will do a set during warm-ups but also remain behind his DJ setup and spin records during in-game breaks.

“I’m excited to be a part of the Super Bowl LVIII,” Tiesto said in a statement. “And it’s even more incredible that it’s in my favorite place – Las Vegas. Thank you to the NFL for having me. I cannot wait to party with you all at the big game!”

Tiesto isn’t the first DJ to perform at the Super Bowl events. In prior years, the likes of DJ Khaled, DJ Snake, D-Nice, and Zedd all entertained the fans before the start of the game. However, Tiësto will be the first DJ to keep on playing during the game.

Super Bowl LVIII will take place at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, the home of the Las Vegas Raiders. The game is scheduled for 11 February.

Tiesto released his most recent album, Drive, in April 2023. The record, which featured guest appearances from Ava Max, Black Eyed Peas, and Charli XCX, among others, peaked at No. 87 on the US Billboard 200 charts.
