Thirty Seconds to Mars Reveal Album Release Date and Announce Summer Tour

Thirty Seconds to Mars have been feeding us with songs from their upcoming album in the last couple of months, and now they have finally revealed the release date for it. Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, band’s frontman Jared Leto revealed that the fifth studio album from Thirty Seconds to Mars will be released on April 6, 2018. It looks like the release will be titled as The New Album, according to band’s iTunes and website.

Leto also announced that he will embark on a summer tour with the band, which will see them playing in Canada and the United States in June and July. Titled The Monolith Tour, it will begin in Toronto on June 6 and wrap up in Phoenix on July 22. The tour will feature opening acts like Walk The Moon, K.Flay, MisterWives, Joywave, and Welshly Arms. So far, Thirty Seconds to Mars presented songs “Walk on Water” and “Dangerous Night” from their upcoming album. Both of the tracks were warmly received by critics, especially “Walk on Water” which was described as “anthemic, electronically tinged track” and “empowering song.”
